DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, please. As you probably know, most weddings are planned months, sometimes years, in advance. The same goes for photographers, and bookings can come in for weddings long before the big day. If one of my booked clients should need to cancel hiring me as the set date approaches, it's unlikely that I will be able to rebook someone else at such short notice.
The non-refundable deposit covers the loss of earnings should that happen.Treat the deposit like your first instalment. The final fees must be paid before images are delivered.

 Wedding deposit: £200
Family, newborn, couple shoot deposit: £40

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR SHOOTS?
Absolutely! I love a destination wedding, and any photoshoot. My costs remain the same as in the pricing guide, with the addition of my travel and accommodation expenses, which we can discuss during our consultation.

WILL I OWN THE IMAGES ONCE THEY'RE DELIVERED TO ME?
I will have copyright and ownership of the images. When you receive them, you then have printing rights to the images, which means you can print them, post them, blog them, email them to Aunty Margaret.  What you don't have the right to do is re-edit them, sell them, use them for marketing purposes to earn a profit, or claim them as your own. Those rights remain as mine.

CAN I HAVE THE RAW FILES?
Simple question, simple answer: nope!
RAW files are unprocessed image files and they take up a heap of space. Until they are converted into high-resolution JPEG files, they really serve you no purpose and will just clog up your hard drive. When you hire me, I'm hoping that you're doing so because you like examples of my finished work, and that you believe I can provide you with the best possible photographs. My editing process is an enormous part of my job. Please know that I do the hard work  to make sure that the images are the best they possibly can be.
